Christmas Study Days 28th – 30th December 2017
The sparkling dialogues, bold speeches, mistaken identities and simple humour of the The Taming of the Shrew have made this play popular since its first performance around 1594. During the Christmas study days time will be spent reading the play, understanding their content and watching videos of the numerous comical scenes.
So why not join other students in the relaxing and homely environment of Brinscall Hall over the Christmas period, enjoying good company with a glass of mulled wine and a log fire? This popular event has been running for over 25 years now and many students return again and again to be inspired by the words of Shakespeare.
The charge for the three days is £40 which includes lunch and refreshments. (The charge for a single day’s attendance is £15). The study days commence at 9.30 am and finish around 4.30 pm each day. It would be helpful to bring a copy of The Taming of the Shrew.
